Frozen

Frozen is a series of flowers set into blocks of ice. Each one sits just under the surface, held still, close and out of reach.

What I did not expect was what happened when the ice let go. Suspended, the flowers kept their form. Released, they deteriorated very quickly.

The ice was holding time as much as it was holding the flower.
